Description:
I Sorci Verdi refers to a famous Italian team of military aviators to which Bruno Mussolini, son of Benito Mussolini, belonged. These aviators were considered national heroes not only for their sporting achievements, but also because they embodied Italian excellence in aviation, a field whose development was supported by the Fascist regime. At the time, aviation represented the power and modernity of technical progress, and the successes that Fascist Italy could achieve in this field became new resources for its propaganda.
